About Us
New Hope Church is part of the International Church of the Foursquare Gospel and has been an active part of God's work in Manteca, California since the 1970s. We strive to be a body of believers that welcome all people, from all backgrounds, walks of life, cultures and parts of the world. Our congregation is an amazing blend of people from all different upbringings and we feel that this gives us a greater diversity and ability to reach many different types of people. We, as a church, seek to worship together, fellowship, grow in the Word of God, allow the Holy Spirit to work in us and through us, to disciple the next generation of leaders and ultimately, see our world changed by the love and truth of Jesus Christ.

The International Church of the Foursquare Gospel was started in 1923 by Aimee Semple McPherson at Angelus Temple in Los Angeles, California. It started and has remained a culturally relevant, yet, Bible-focused Pentecostal movement that stands on four major tenets of God:
