Men's Vision & Mission Statement

Worship  •  Mission   •
Relationship
•   Discipleship

Train and encourage men to accept their God-given assignment to be the Spiritual Leader of their families.

Train men for battle against the assaults of the enemy.  Satan knows our habits, our weaknesses and our tendencies; we must help each other to overcome these vulnerable areas in our lives.

Help men to see the pull of the world system in our lives and how to be free from it.

Help men to find their identity and significance in Christ.

Help men to see and embrace the cost of being a Disciple of Christ!

Band of Brothers exists to help men become the leaders God intends them to be:

. In their homes as a husband and father
. In their church as servants
. As a light in their workplace and the world

Coming together:

. Corporately
. Through small group relationships
. Through Bible and topical-based teachings
. As an opportunity to serve

Men's Ministries can only be effective with your involvement, so if you have any ideas, needs, or would like more information, please contact Chuck Peters at 825-3902.

Men's Activities

Annual Men's Advance
Every year the men of New Hope meet at Old Oak Ranch for a wonderful time of renewal and spiritual growth.
The advance has a different theme each year with guest speakers chosen by our leaders. This year's 'Advance' was great! The theme was "To the King!" with our very own Tim Kemptner speaking. A prophetic word given to one of our ladies in response to intercession for this advance was: "The King" would raise the men of New Hope into their callings & destinies, to be kings & priests in their homes and community." ... and all the people said, "Amen!"

To see what Old Oak Ranch has in store, visit their website at www.oldoak.com.

Topical Bible Study on Prayer
Band of Brothers will be starting a topical Bible study on "Prayer." The Band meets on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of the month at 7pm in Room 2/3.

Men's Bible Studies
There are several men's groups that meet on a weekly basis. Contact Chuck Peters at 825-3902 for days and times.
