If it's for Kids
It's gotta be FUN!

Grades
1-3
Your
child will be fully supplied with 'hands-on' activities that
make learning about the Bible fun and exciting. Here,
kids will have the opportunity to establish relationships
through fellowship and worship.
Weekend Service:
Your child will join you for a time of worship and then be
dismissed with their teacher to The Launch Pad.
Grades
4-6
Since
your child is now entering a new learning phase of their young
lives, he or she will have the opportunity to experience how
the Word of God can be relevant, exciting and helpful
to their daily lives and relationships. They will use
many ways such as drama, video, crafts and memorization as
they begin to grow into their destiny and be encouraged to
be expressive in their worship and gifting.
Weekend
Service: Your child will join you for a time of worship and
then be dismissed with
their teacher to The Construction Zone.

Vacation Bible School
God
is so awesome and is moving among the children and youth in
such a mighty way! We're already looking forward to next year.
Keep the children in prayer that God will continue to water
the seeds that were planted. MAY THERE BE GOOD FRUIT THAT REMAINS!!!
This year's VBS was set in beautiful Coconut Island! The worship
& message of God's love went forth to 60+ kids and parents,
resulting in several kids accepting Jesus as their Savior! It
was was held in the evenings so parents and grandparents were
able to attend! There were crafts, snacks, worship, water fun
& more!!! A special "thank you" to Sharolyn Coldren
for her vision and to everyone who volunteered to help!

About the Children
The
lambs of the flock are always the most precious. The shepherd
and the other sheep protect the young at the center of the fold.
The greatest gift the Lord God can give one of His children, other
than salvation, is a child. At New Hope Church, we desire to learn
how to minister to our children as parents, neighbors, and fellow
members of the Body of Christ.
It seems good that we would
emphasize the vast potential each individual household possesses
in raising the children of that family in the ways of the Lord.
It is one thing for a pastor to challenge people to "be
good parents," and leave them to struggle with the parenting
responsibility. It is something else entirely to follow the
challenge with training, time, and encouragement that will allow
the parent a "fighting" chance at seeing spiritual
development in their children.
One of the underlying principles
that will determine the structure of New Hope Church is as follows:
"The church structure must not do for a family what a family
should do for itself." The church family, however, should
equip and encourage parents to minister effectively to their
family.
